Blakehurst is looking for an experienced, hospitality-focused Assisted Living Manager/Delegating Nurse who brings compassion, professionalism, and strong skills to work every day. The Assisted Living Manager is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the community's 20 Assisted Living apartments and 15 Memory Care suites. The Assisted Living Manager directs the employees providing these services, ensures compliance with regulations and policies and procedures for these areas, and must maintain effective working relationships and communication with the residents and their families.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assure the provision of quality care and services needed and/or desired by residents, consistent with regulatory requirements and the policies and procedures established by the Executive Director in conjunction with the facility's ownership and LCS.
2. Provide appropriate delegation of nursing tasks, oversight, and direction for clinical staff of the assisted living program.
3. Maintain licensure of the facility ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Be available to be on call as Assisted Living Manager and on rotation for administrative matters.
Qualifications:
Have a current, valid Assisted Living Manager license in the state of Maryland OR have either a 4-year college-level degree or 2 years of experience in a health care-related field and have completed an approved 80-hour Assisted Living Manager course and be willing to obtain an Assisted Living Manager license in the state of Maryland.
Must have current valid LPN or RN license.
Experience working in assisted living and knowledge of assisted living regulations required.
Supervisory experience required.
All new hires must be able to pass our pre-employment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references, and proof of vaccination or immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.
