Position: Universal Colleague / Medication Manager
Employment Type: Part-Time (24 hours biweekly), every other weekend and alternating holidays

Position Summary
As a Universal Colleague / Medication Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of Assisted Living residents. This position offers a variety of responsibilities including resident care, dietary support, housekeeping, and medication management.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working as part of a team dedicated to creating a positive living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen & Dietary Support
  • Serve meals to residents in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Clear tables and assist with dining room cleanup
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness after meals
  • Support dietary services as needed
Resident Care
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Promote resident comfort, dignity, and independence
  • Escort residents to activities, appointments, and special events
  • Provide companionship and support while encouraging engagement
Housekeeping
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and cleaning tasks as needed
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
Medication Management
  • Assist with medication management responsibilities as permitted
  • Complete Medication Manager certification if not already certified
  • Follow medication administration policies and procedures to ensure resident safety
Qualifications
  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to complete Medication Manager certification if not currently certified
  • Previous experience in healthcare, assisted living, customer service, or caregiving preferred, but not required
