Commercial Account ExecutiveTower Street Insurance Dallas, Texas, United States (Hybrid)

Tower Street Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to serve as the primary strategic advisor and service lead for a portfolio of middle-market and large risk commercial clients. This role partners closely with Producers and internal account management teams to design, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs that address clients’ evolving risk management needs.

The Account Executive is responsible for overseeing account strategy, managing renewals, presenting coverage recommendations, and ensuring exceptional client service while maintaining strong retention across the book of business. This position also plays a key role in supporting new business opportunities and strengthening long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary service lead and trusted advisor for assigned Commercial Lines clients.
  • Develop and manage long-term insurance program strategies tailored to client risk exposures and business goals.
  • Lead renewal strategy and oversee the full renewal process including marketing, carrier negotiations, and implementation of coverage programs.
  • Analyze coverage options, carrier proposals, and policy structures to recommend optimal insurance solutions.
  • Present renewal strategies, coverage recommendations, and risk management guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Producers to support client retention and new business development efforts.
  • Participate in prospect meetings and assist Producers in developing insurance program strategies for new clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and negotiate favorable coverage and pricing terms.
  • Oversee and coordinate account servicing activities with Account Managers and internal team members.
  • Ensure all client accounts are managed in accordance with agency standards, compliance guidelines, and service expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional lines of coverage and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and retention while proactively addressing coverage gaps or service needs.
  • Stay current on market conditions, carrier appetites, and emerging industry trends.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the commercial lines service team when appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Property amp; Casualty insurance.
  • Active Property amp; Casualty insurance license required.
  • Strong technical expertise in commercial coverages including property, general liability, auto, umbrella, workers compensation, and specialty lines.
  • Proven experience managing middle-market and large risk commercial accounts.
  • Experience leading renewal strategy and marketing accounts to carriers.
  • Strong presentation and client advisory skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams including Producers and Account Managers.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Industry designations such as CIC, ARM, or CPCU preferred.
  • College degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
