Senior Editor, Digital Marketing

The Senior Editor, Digital Marketing is responsible for leading content strategy, editorial oversight, and content operations for NewYork-Presbyterian's (NYP) consumer-facing digital platforms, with a primary focus on NYP websites. This role serves as a senior content leader and project manager, overseeing the planning, development, execution, and governance of website and digital content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, aligned with brand standards and voice, and optimized for search and emerging AI platforms. In this role, you will lead the development and enforcement of the website's editorial vision, content standards, and information architecture while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, digital, clinical, and agency teams. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

This is a full time day shift position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan, and the ability for 1 day remote.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience applying SEO best practices and optimizing content for search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms
