ABOUT AIRTECH:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Regulatory Compliance Assistant will support Airtech International to further improve our compliance operations.  This position will be responsible for providing compliance support to the Compliance Manager in various matters including federal and state regulations related to export controls, health and safety, document control, and overall facility compliance. 

Working as part of a small but fast-paced team, the Regulatory Compliance Assistant must be a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly motivated team member.  Individual must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve the company’s objectives. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist Compliance Department to research various regulatory scenarios to mitigate risk.
  2. Monitor and evaluate pending legislative and regulatory changes related to Airtech operations.
  3. Arrange and perform periodic compliance reviews to evaluate related documentation and procedures. 
  4. Prepare reports on findings and report to the Compliance Manager.   
  5. Assist in tracking preventative and corrective actions.
  6. Assist to draft and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and related policies/procedures.   
  7. Maintain knowledge on current regulations / guidelines, and industry trends/best practices.
  8. Assist in maintaining management of change database and related documents. 
  9. Assist in reviewing Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to identify compliance obligations.
  10. Update local and global SDS databases as necessary.
  11. Data entry for various records.
  12. Perform other duties and projects to assist Compliance Department as requested. 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe.
  • Ability to review regulations and collect data for presentations and reports. 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with Compliance Manager. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibiting high level of integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

SCHEDULE:

  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Monday - Friday
