Summary / objective of position:
The Business Development Assistant will maintain primary responsibility for updating quarterly / ad hoc marketing materials as well as providing administrative support for the business development team. The Business Development Assistant will be expected to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Business Development Assistant will act as the primary liaison between the marketing, business development, and investment teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Update quarterly marketing materials including pitch books, fact sheets, and quarterly newsletters
  • Serve as liaison between firm marketing department and asset management department
  • Produce ad-hoc marketing materials as requested
  • Maintain email marketing lists and facilitate the distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM database including adding new contacts, weekly meeting notes, and sales pipeline
  • Assist business development team with travel and meeting scheduling
  • Maintain and submit expense reports for business development team
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager
  • Collaborate with marketing to maintain Johnson Asset Management website

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Creativity for marketing asset management services
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MailChimp, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Motivated, self-starter, independent thinker
  • Works effectively with others in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
