As a Specification Representative, you will play a key role in promoting Sierra Forest Products' diverse product portfolio within target markets, with the objective of increasing specifications and ultimately driving revenue growth.
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000
Requirements
Your Role & Impact:
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts, including architects, designers, general contractors, and end users.
  • Identify relevant projects, key players, and decision makers with the goal of increasing, securing, and sustaining product specifications.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and utilize CRM tools to accurately track and manage specified projects through to completion and sale.
  • Engage in continuous learning to strengthen product knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Work closely with the management team to support and coordinate marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain productive, professional relationships with vendors.
  • Stay current on new products and industry trends, sharing insights with both management and the sales team.
  • Partner with design firms to support colour palette selection and overall design solutions.

  • Experience working in or with the architectural design community and/or sales in a related industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Results driven with excellent negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.
  • Outgoing, creative, self-driven with a passion for results.
  • Ability to manage a long sales pipeline with the help of our CRM software.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • College or university degree in a related field or equivalent level of field experience an asset.
  • Interior Design Accreditation or Certificate.
