Job description

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious salon apprentice to join our team of passionate professionals. This entry level role offers a unique opportunity to build your career from the ground up through personalized mentorship, immersive hands-on training, and exclusive in-house education. As an apprentice, you'll gain technical skills, confidence, and salon experience needed to transition into a full-time stylist role. Compensation: $13/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following list of essential job functions is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned this position. It is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and is subject to change and exceptions at the discretions of supervisors.
  • Support stylists with client services
  • Shampoo guests
  • Fold towels
  • General salon pick-up, sweep floors, dishes, clean color bowls, maintain color bar
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled in-house and training sessions
  • Shadow tenured stylist and assist during services to learn advanced techniques and client care standards
  • Engage with clients warmly and professionally, reinforcing a welcoming and luxurious experience
  • Practice skills under supervision on live models gradually advancing toward full stylist responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must have Texas Cosmetology license
  • Passionate about the beauty industry with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Positive, proactive, and coachable with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Eagerness to contribute to a high-end, service-focused salon atmosphere
