Position Description
The Business Application Assistant is responsible for providing user support and system maintenance for Allegro Living's senior housing property management applications, including Yardi. This position will also provide administrative and project support to the Director of Business Applications.
The Business Application Assistant will work closely with accounting leadership, Executive Directors, Business Office Managers, field-based end users, and regional and corporate team members. The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, comfortable troubleshooting system issues, and able to clearly train and support users with varying levels of technical experience.
Essential Job Functions
  • Administer users within Yardi Senior Housing and other company systems and platforms.
  • Provide support to field-based users through live training, recorded tutorials, and written training materials.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and respond to user questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Deliver excellent internal customer service to community, regional, and corporate team members.
  • Assist with new system implementations and integration projects.
  • Provide administrative and project support for senior living business applications.
  • Create and maintain system instructions, training materials, and process documentation.
  • Complete additional administrative and project-related responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Associate or bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous senior living experience preferred.
  • Experience creating training materials, tutorials, and process documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Comfortable with system administration and troubleshooting end-user issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community, regional, and corporate leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Interest in growing professionally within a dynamic, positive, and expanding organization.

Work Arrangement
Remote, travel may be needed based on business needs and the candidate's location.
