Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve software issues, system errors, and general computer problems
  • Provide support for Company's Route Accounting System (VIP).
  • Provide support for warehouse management systems and operations technologies including but not limited to iPhones, iPads, Voice Pick equipment.
  • Provide support for Sales Applications, Sales Reporting, Connect
  • Support additional company used applications including Microsoft Suite, Omnitracs, Nexus, UKG and other regularly used software applications.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment
  • Understand servers and the components that make up the network. Maintain basic troubleshooting skills for server and network issues. Know when to contact network vendors or internal network support staff
  • Setup employees’ system access, email access and user security within software application
  • Assist with company projects, develop and deploy project plans and communicate with stakeholders and other staff as necessary
  • Must be capable of independently learning using the tools available from Software and Hardware vendors as well as the company knowledge base and other training materials
  • Train employees on the use of specific applications and technology tools.
  • Travel to remote sites to offer support, training and project leadership or assistance.
  • Maintain a professional and support driven disposition with end users, and strive to understand the end user's goals as well as the business and process goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (College Transcripts required)
  • 3 years of IT industry experience
  • Excellent customer support, communication and service skills
  • Experience with personal computers operating in Windows environment
  • Experience in consumer distribution systems, preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite & Google Workspace
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting, mobile device management platforms, and Active Directory
  • Support includes off-hours accessibility on a rotating schedule
  • Overnight travel to remote sites as needed
  • Knowledgeable about emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, as needed
  • Familiarity with AI powered reporting tools and solutions

Compensation Range:
The expected base pay range for this position is: $55,000 - $78,000 per year
Final compensation is based on experience, credentials, and geographic location.
Pay ranges are reviewed annually based on market data and internal equity.
