Job description

Our client is seeking a Temporary AP/AR Manager to lead accounts payable and accounts receivable operations during a critical project. This role will oversee daily transactional accounting functions, support process improvements, and help ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day AP and AR operations, including invoicing, collections, payment processing, and account reconciliations.
  • Supervise staff and help maintain accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow activity and support cash management initiatives.
  • Assist with month-end close, reporting, and resolution of outstanding account issues.
  • Partner with leadership on process optimization and workflow improvements.
  • Support system and reporting tools as needed, including ERP and accounting platforms.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including AP/AR leadership.
  • Prior experience managing teams in a fast-paced accounting environment.
