Job description

About Mistral
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems-across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector-co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
We are seeking a Head of Analyst Relations to build and lead Mistral's global Analyst Relations program.
This is a foundational leadership role responsible for shaping how the world's most influential industry analysts understand Mistral, our products, and our long-term vision. We are establishing a new AI category, private AI for mission-critical use. And we are giving customers ownership of their AI with open weights, powerful tools to control and connect the AI, and the ability to deploy it wherever they want, from edge to cloud to dedicated sovereign hosting. Our analyst partners will help create this category, explain its importance, and guide the customers that need it. We need you to help them help us!
You will serve as a strategic advisor to executives and partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, and Leadership to ensure Mistral is positioned effectively across the analyst ecosystem.
You will own relationships with firms such as Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Futurum, Moor Insights, Constellation, and more to help establish Mistral as a category-defining company in artificial intelligence.
This role reports into the CMO and works closely with the executive leadership team.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute Mistral's global Analyst Relations program.
  • Build trusted relationships with leading industry analysts across AI, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise software.
  • Shape and influence analyst perceptions of Mistral's products, vision, and market position.
  • Lead analyst engagement programs, including briefings, inquiries, advisory sessions, and major report submissions.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to craft differentiated messaging and category narratives.
  • Drive participation in key analyst evaluations, including Magic Quadrants, Waves, Marketscapes, and other relevant reports.
  • Translate analyst insights into actionable recommendations for leadership, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure the impact of Analyst Relations across awareness, perception, and commercial outcomes.
  • Build and scale the Analyst Relations function as Mistral continues its global expansion.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Communications, or related functions within technology companies. Experience in AR and other marketing or product disciplines is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the analyst ecosystem and experience managing relationships with leading firms.
  • Experience supporting high-growth B2B technology or AI organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high degree of autonomy.
