Job description

Summary

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Investor Relations is a senior member of Enerflex's Corporate Finance function and plays a key role in supporting the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of the Company's Investor Relations program.

Working closely with the SVP and Executive Management Team, the VP will lead the day-to-day execution of Investor Relations activities and contribute to the articulation and communication of Enerflex's strategy, financial performance, and long-term value proposition to investors, analysts, and other capital markets stakeholders. The role also provides critical insight and feedback from the investment community to inform enterprise decision-making.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Investor Relations Execution & Advisory Support

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of Enerflex's Investor Relations activities, aligned with the overall strategy and direction set by the VP, Corporate Development & Capital Markets.
  • Support the SVP in shaping and refining Enerflex's equity story, messaging framework, and investor engagement approach.
  • Provide market intelligence, investor sentiment analysis, and strategic input to support senior leadership decision-making.

Executive, Board & External Engagement

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and other capital markets stakeholders, in coordination with the VP.
  • Support and participate in investor engagement activities, including roadshows, conferences, investor days, one-on-one meetings, site visits, and facility tours.
  • Partner with the SVP and Executive Management to develop and maintain an annual investor engagement and conference calendar.
  • Prepare materials and insights for regular Investor Relations updates to the Board of Directors and Executive Management Team.

Disclosure, Messaging & Communications

  • Lead the development, coordination, and review of Investor Relations materials, including earnings presentations, conference call scripts, investor decks, press releases, and other public communications.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity of messaging across public filings and external communications (e.g., press releases, MD&A, Annual Report, AIF, investor materials).
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Communications teams to support regulatory compliance and best-practice disclosure standards.

Market Intelligence & Insight

  • Monitor equity market conditions, peer performance, valuation trends, shareholder composition, and sell-side coverage.
  • Track Enerflex's standing with proxy advisors, ESG rating agencies, and other third-party evaluators (e.g., ISS, MSCI, S&P), and provide analysis and recommendations to the SVP.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from investors and analysts to inform internal initiatives, including capital allocation discussions, ESG priorities, and strategic planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance, Corporate Development, ESG, Legal, and senior business leaders to ensure alignment between internal strategy and external messaging.
  • Support capital markets and corporate development activities, as required, including equity or debt transactions, through effective investor communications and coordination.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, equity research, investment management, and/or related capital markets roles with publicly listed organizations, or any combination.
  • Experience working closely with senior executives and Boards, and engaging directly with institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
  • CFA designation is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, financial analysis, valuation, and public company disclosure requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and consistency in report presentation.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills are required. Experience with Bloomberg would be an asset.

Physical Requirements
