This individual will own some of our high impact local sales partnerships as we seek to reach advertisers of all shapes and sizes and in all locations across the US. The ideal candidate understands the unique dynamics of working with local channel partners, enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. The role requires subject matter expertise in channel partner management, local advertising ecosystems, and digital advertising solutions. This role will be expected to inspire, lead, think and act both strategically and tactically for our partners and customers, using strong business acumen and experience selling digital advertising solutions to help our partners grow and scale revenue. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of sales in a B2B and B2C environment and excels in developing and executing channel partner strategies, with particular emphasis on local market dynamics. They possess superior interpersonal skills and are able to earn trust with both partner teams and internal stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and deliver the sales quota of assigned reseller partner(s) and ensure appropriately managed in Amazon tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Build relationships at partner teams across buying, planning, account management and leadership by leveraging your expertise and acting as a strategic partner
- Own and be immersed in partners' businesses and be fluent in their priorities, core KPIs and those metrics that impact Amazon sales; leverage knowledge to advise and lead on short and long-term growth strategies
- Act as key POC to Amazon working across Local support teams to provide insights, guidance and updates to deliver on shared objectives
- Partner with internal and partner marketing and product teams on sales and business strategy and GTM narratives to support it, leveraging Amazon products and offerings for their respective local customers
- Conduct virtual and in-person meetings educating partner teams on Amazon products, processes, policies and ecosystems and how Amazon can 2) help them achieve their vision and objectives and 2) help their customers grow their businesses through the joint Amazon-Partner offerings
- Leverage an entrepreneurial mindset to solve complex problems, with solutions tailored for each customer and made as simple as possible.
- Utilize customer input to drive innovation creating ease of execution for our partners by improving policies, process and products.
- Identify mechanisms to evolve and simplify the teams' practices while ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Take ownership of the pre and post-sale process ensuring we exceed customer expectations and deliver results; steward relevant feedback and VOC to product and support teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Experience in account management, brand management, performance marketing, digital marketing, sales or consulting
- Experience in developing and managing marketing or channel programs
- Experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience consistently closing sales and generating revenues
- Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
