Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Sales – Amazon for a global electronics manufacturing organization. This is a remote, direct-hire opportunity open nationally , with candidates expected to align with Pacific Time business hours .

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own and execute the Amazon sales and account growth strategy, including revenue planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and executive relationship management.
  • Build and deepen relationships with Amazon procurement, sourcing, product, engineering, operations, supply chain, and executive stakeholders to uncover upcoming hardware and consumer device opportunities.
  • Gain early visibility into customer needs, including anticipated SKUs, purchasing requirements, launch volumes, accessories, and product roadmaps, and translate this intelligence into actionable business opportunities.
  • Lead complex RFI, RFP, and RFQ opportunities from initial customer engagement through solution development, pricing, negotiations, program award, product launch, and mass production.
  • Coordinate global engineering, program management, operations, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver successful customer programs.
  • Lead strategic customer meetings and executive business reviews while communicating forecasts, customer priorities, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities internally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Sales, business development, or strategic account leadership experience within consumer electronics manufacturing, EMS, ODM, JDM, or contract manufacturing .
  • Direct experience working with Amazon and established relationships within the customer organization , particularly across procurement, sourcing, product, engineering, or operations.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, winning, and expanding complex, high-value consumer electronics or hardware manufacturing programs.
  • Strong understanding of RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, pricing, cost models, contract negotiations, NPI, product launches, and mass-production ramps .
  • Executive-level communication and negotiation skills, global cross-functional leadership capabilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • This position offers a $220,000 base salary with approximately $260,000 OTE .
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire remote opportunity with periodic domestic and international travel.
