Job description

Major Food Group is hiring AM Line Cooks to join our team at Sadelle's located in beautiful Highland Park Village!

Sadelle’s is a modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of all-day dining. Since opening its first location in the heart of SoHo in 2016, the brand has reached iconic status thanks to its urbane, celebratory atmosphere and a menu of hits, including the best bagels in America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and maintain salad station line
  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years of experience in high volume restaurants preferred but not required 
  • Experience working with seafood and cold prepared foods strongly preferred
  • Morning shift availability 6/7AM - 2/3PM
  • Team-orientated and positive attitude
  • Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication skills a must
