POSITION SUMMARY: Perilla is looking for experienced, courteous and motivated individuals to join our team as one of our AM line cooks. Our line cook will be hardworking, dependable, motivated, and passionate about cooking. This candidate will possess a great eye for detail and will be responsible for the planning and execution of all

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare ingredients then cook and plate dishes as indicated by recipes.
  • Minimize waste to ensure cost control.
  • Prepare all dishes in a timely manner by maintaining a properly stocked and clean workspace and meeting all prep time demands.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, including equipment, tables and shelves.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with both coworkers and guests.
  • Perform additional tasks as delegated by the line supervisor or chef. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Understanding of cooking methods, procedures and knife skills.
  • Ability to execute with accuracy, speed and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and follow cooking directions.
  • Ability to maintain calm in a stressful environment.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Must have proven cooking experience, including experience as a cook, chef or prep cook.
