About our restaurant and the role:
Big Ange's Eatery is looking for a new, enthusiastic and hardworking "Sandwich Maker/Kitchen Work/Line Cook" to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL!
We are a family owned and operated, open style restaurant that specializes in BBQ smoked meats, homemade specialty sandwiches, sides and more.
Being a scratch kitchen in a fast paced, high volume environment that recently celebrated our 10th year in business, we take our food and customer service very seriously!

Hourly rate from $18.00 to $23.00 depending on skill level.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches and menu items to order with speed and accuracy
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean, compliant kitchen
  • Assist with food prep tasks including slicing, portioning, and ingredient preparation
  • Restock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth service throughout the day
  • Support kitchen staff with general tasks to keep operations running efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
  • Deliver friendly, efficient service while meeting quality standards consistently
*Job Requirements:
  • BE DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE AND BEING ON TIME IS A MUST! 
  • Able to read order tickets in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong team player, helping other team mates
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed
