Company Overview: Alchemy Insurance Solutions is a specialty MGA focused on underwriting niche & customizable programs tailored to fit market needs and capacity demands. We offer a full suite of insurance services with a proven distribution strategy designed around long-term profitable growth. We have both retail and delegated authority underwriting operations.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Agency Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our retail agency team, including producers and customer service representatives (CSRs). This leadership role will focus on performance management, sales growth, CRM development, and the optimization of internal processes via our agency management system, Momentum. The successful candidate will also serve as a key relationship manager for our strategic affinity partnerships in the construction and self-storage industries.

This is an opportunity to lead a team in a dynamic environment, drive sales initiatives, and shape the tools and relationships that power our agency's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and manage a team of producers and CSRs to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Assist producers with closing large accounts
  • Set clear expectations, track performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members to ensure long-term success and cultural alignment.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with agency objectives.
  • Monitor pipeline activity and producer performance to identify opportunities and remove barriers to growth.
  • Support cross-selling and up-selling strategies to enhance client retention and profitability.

Agency Management System (Momentum) Expertise

  • Become the in-house expert on Momentum, our agency management system.
  • Ensure the team is trained and leveraging the platform effectively to support sales, service, and reporting functions.
  • Continuously refine workflows and reporting processes within the system for optimal efficiency.

CRM (HubSpot) Development & Utilization

  • Lead the development, implementation, and tracking of our CRM platform to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Ensure consistent use of CRM tools for client engagement, lead management, and performance analytics.

Affinity Partner Relationship Manager

  • Act as the primary liaison between our agency and key affinity partners in construction and self-storage.
  • Coordinate product distribution strategies and collaborative marketing initiatives with partner organizations.
  • Support growth of partner-based programs through education, relationship management, and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed retail insurance agent.
  • Minimum 5 years of team management experience in an insurance agency or similar setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow high-performing sales and service teams.
  • Experience with CRM and AMS platforms (Momentum experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for developing talent and improving processes.
  • Familiarity with construction and/or self-storage insurance programs are a plus.
