Job description

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Rancho Cucamonga is currently looking for a CMM Programmer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that has been in business for over 30 years! Salary Rate: $39 - $42 DOE plus a $1.00 shift differential with Overtime Available
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blueprint, or electronic file requirements.
  • Ability to interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
  • Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 Forms as required.
  • Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers and other assorted hand measurement equipment.
  • To perform the CMM Operator job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. These requirements are representative, but not all - inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and ability required of this position. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred
  • Experience: Utilization of both CMM and hand equipment to perform dimensional inspection techniques.
  • Certifications/Licenses: AFS Laboratory Certification Preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Virtual Dimensional Measuring Interface Specification (DMIS) 6.0, Virtual DMIS, Routine CMM Operation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance,
  • Expert PC-DMIS Knowledge required.
  • Polyworks And Bluelight scanning a plus.
  • Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Ability to read blue prints in order to determine and measure features and tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret reduced dimension drawings
  • Ability to program using electronic model
  • Surface Plate Inspection using Standard Inspection Tools
  • Knowledge of Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 requirements
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a Plus
