Administrative Assistant

Atlanta, Georgia, United States Job Openings Administrative Assistant

The duties include (but not limited too):

· Providing administrative support for a staff of approximately 2000 Active Duty and DoD Civilians.

· Process, maintain, and track administrative documents, correspondence, classified documents, and forms, with emphasis toward military personnel management and administration.

· Administrative support tasks shall include receiving, editing, formatting, updating, submitting, tracking, filing, and dispositioning correspondence, instructions, forms, administrative reports, and data.

· You will receive and forward official Naval message traffic for service members, compile and report various information, draft appointment letters for review, and process and track command awards for Navy personnel.

· Prepare correspondence for review by the Administrative Officer, ensuring it conforms to the Navy Correspondence Manual and all pertinent Navy and command directives. Contractor will follow policy and procedures for the control and maintenance of SWFLANT central files.

· Process and track all Awards for Navy Personnel and provide administrative support for personnel evaluations and fitness reports, including assist in maintaining the Military Fitness Report and Evaluation program. Duties include coordinating/liaising with service members to correct personnel/pay issues.

· Prepare various forms and forward to the requestor for review and action and draft official correspondence as requested. The Contractor shall maintain historical files and utilize the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) E-Leave program to process service member leave requests and input emergency leave requests.

· Reviewing and recommending leave corrections as required, updating E-Leave as personnel transfers occur and verifying leave requests for completeness and accuracy.

· Mail support tasks include processing incoming/outgoing official mail including sorting/addressing/packaging, processing incoming command- mail and ensuring accountable mail is processed, logged, and stored.
