Job description

Administrative Office Assistant (warehouse) Job Information:

  • Located in Parlin, NJ
  • Company distributes industrial replacement parts. Parts are customize rubber belts, straps and harnesses, bearings, rollers, etc. which are used on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Schedule/hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (NO REMOTE WORK). This person provides administrative support to the shop/warehouse.
  • Paying $20 - $24 per hour (based on experience)

Administrative Office Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Customer focused. Answers calls and assists with business to business transactions
  • Helps file, copy, scan and helps prepare/create digital files & documents such as customer orders or invoicing (will be reviewed by coworker)
  • Assists with AR and AP - enters data for invoicing and make journal entries as needed
  • Assists with entering data into computerized ERP system
  • Helps process online orders
  • Greets customers who enter warehouse
  • Works closely with Office Manager
  • Provide customer support by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks, as needed.

Administrative Office Assistant Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college coursework or other related post-high school training preferred
  • At least six (6) months of prior clerical or office/administrative support experience.
  • Must be comfortable working with numbers and accurate calculating basic multiplication and division. Feet, inches, etc.
  • Must possess working computer skills & knowledge including ERP (database) management and MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
