Church Office Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: East Brunswick, NJ (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (30 Hours per Week)

$25 an hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Church Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our church. This role combines administrative support, bookkeeping, member communications, and facility coordination to ensure a welcoming and efficient church environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, phone calls, emails, and mail.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly worship materials, bulletins, and church communications.

  • Maintain church records, attendance tracking, membership information, and databases.

  • Manage church calendars, event scheduling, and volunteer sign-up systems.

  • Process accounts payable, maintain contribution records, and support financial reporting activities.

  • Coordinate with vendors, service contractors, and cleaning staff for facility maintenance needs.

  • Monitor office and custodial supply inventory and place orders as needed.

  • Assist with annual reports, record retention, and administrative projects.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of administrative, office management, or executive support experience.

  • Previous church, nonprofit, or faith-based organization experience preferred.

  • Experience with bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and financial recordkeeping.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database management systems.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $22.00 per hour
