What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ad trafficker?

To thrive as an Ad Trafficker, you need strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a solid understanding of digital advertising principles, often supported by a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Proficiency with ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick, and familiarity with tracking and reporting tools are typically required. Other responsibilities include developing ad strategies for a specific audience or geographic location. You facilitate workflow and communication, meet all deadlines, and publish advertisements at the right time. You may also use code including HTML, Flash, or Java. You troubleshoot inaccuracies, monitor larger campaigns, and generate reports on advertising sales.
