Job Description:
Cydecor is seeking an Active-Duty service member preparing to transition out of the military who is eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program. This internship offers hands-on experience with Cydecor's Recruiting and Human Resources teams, providing comprehensive training in the full recruitment lifecycle.
The Talent Acquisition Intern will gain exposure to sourcing candidates on platforms like LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, and Indeed; screening applicants; coordinating with hiring managers; and managing candidate progress through the Taleo Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Additional responsibilities include drafting offer letters and supporting onboarding. Upon completion, the intern will be equipped to step into a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter role.
Responsibilities include:
(Program length is flexible based on the service member's SkillBridge leave period.)
  • Week 1: Orientation and Initial Talent Acquisition Overview
  • Weeks 2-4: Advanced Sourcing Platforms & Boolean Techniques
  • Weeks 5-6: Candidate Engagement and Branding Outreach
  • Weeks 7-8: Screening and Resume Submission
  • Weeks 9-11: Taleo ATS System Training
  • Weeks 12-13: Offer Letter Drafting and Onboarding Support
  • Weeks 14-16: End-to-End Recruiting with Mentor Oversight
  • Weeks 17-18: Independent Recruiting Assignments
  • Week 19: DEI & Compliance in Hiring
  • Week 20: Recruitment Metrics and Reporting
  • Week 21: Social Media Campaigns and Employer Branding
  • Week 22: Hiring Event Planning and Coordination
  • Week 23: Strategic Workforce Planning Overview
  • Week 24: Performance Assessment
  • Week 25: Final Evaluations and Career Discussion

Here's what you need:
  • Active-Duty military member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience within your military branch

Work Schedule:
  • Hybrid - 3-4 days on-site, 1-2 day/days remote
