About Heritage Holding

Heritage Holding is a lower middle market private investment firm focused on acquiring and scaling founder-led, B2B services businesses. We take an operator-led approach, partnering closely with management teams to drive growth, implement systems, and build scalable platforms.

As we continue to grow our portfolio, talent acquisition is a critical driver in building high-performing teams across our operating companies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team for the Fall semester. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in recruiting, talent strategy, and private equity-backed business operations while working alongside the firm's leadership and Talent Acquisition team.

The intern will play an active role in supporting hiring efforts across Heritage Holding and its portfolio companies, contributing to candidate sourcing, interview coordination, recruiting operations, and employer branding initiatives.

This internship is ideal for students interested in recruiting, human resources, private equity, business operations, or organizational psychology who are looking to gain meaningful, real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting across Heritage Holding and its portfolio companies

  • Review resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach

  • Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate pipelines within Ashby ATS

  • Assist with drafting and updating job descriptions

  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting marketing efforts

  • Help improve recruiting processes, documentation, and operational workflows

  • Participate in hiring meetings and special talent acquisition projects

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field

  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the Fall semester

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Previous recruiting, HR, leadership, or campus involvement is a plus

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred but not required

What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting in a private equity environment

  • Exposure to hiring across multiple industries and portfolio companies

  • Direct mentorship from experienced talent acquisition professionals

  • Experience using modern recruiting tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby ATS

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on growing businesses
