Position Summary: Supervisesand coordinates activities of the Accounts Payable team toensureaccurate posting of business transactions, invoice processing, financial data verification for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and other support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.Ensures that there is proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customers and company's requirements.Works with other departments to assure timely and accurate invoicing.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees accounts payable activities involving payments of invoices received, approvals, correcting records, resolving errors, and maintenance of accounts payable ledger
  • Reviews accounts payable records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Establishes and implements procedures.
  • Assures timely and accurate payment of invoices according to company terms and conditions.
  • Makes recommendations to improve quality of accounting procedures.
  • Ensures weekly reports are prepared and are accurate
  • Sound and timely communication with operational managers and as well as all levels of management
  • Team environment and working amongst multiple departments to problem solve and bring improved processes.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Superior spreadsheets skills and a good knowledge of MicrosoftExcel
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accounting and Finance rules and regulations
  • Strong leadership capabilities

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area, or equivalent relevant experience preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • Infor or Oracle ERP Experience a plus
  • ZOHO CRM and Analytics a plus

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Office Environment
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for short periods of time
  • Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
