We are seeking a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to help grow relationships with some of the most influential organizations across the housing ecosystem.
The Role
You will own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise relationships across the housing ecosystem by connecting customers with the data, intelligence, subscriptions, and solutions they need to make better business decisions.
The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive serves as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of enterprise accounts and prospects. Success in this role comes from understanding the housing industry, building trusted relationships with decision-makers, recognizing signals for growth, and connecting customers with the right HousingWire solutions to help them achieve their objectives.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing housing market trends with industry executives, identifying business challenges, and developing solutions that create measurable value. You will work closely with subject matter experts across data, events, marketing, and product teams to deliver value, uncover opportunities, and drive long-term account growth.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and expand relationships with executives and key decision-makers within strategic organizations across mortgage, real estate, homebuilding, and proptech.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver housing market data, intelligence, and enterprise subscriptions that help customers make better business decisions.
  • Lead discovery conversations, develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and close business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives and connect them with the HousingWire solutions best suited to help them achieve their goals.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to enterprise customers by helping them use housing market intelligence to support decision-making, growth initiatives, and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to deliver customer value and support complex opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, company developments, and market activity to identify opportunities for customer growth and engagement.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed individual revenue goals.

What Makes You Successful
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, account management, partnerships, or a related commercial role.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and expand accounts over time.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred
  • Experience in housing, mortgage, real estate, homebuilding, proptech, financial services, media, or information services.
  • Existing relationships within the housing ecosystem.
  • Experience selling data, subscriptions, marketing solutions, events, sponsorships, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack.

Why HousingWire
HousingWire sits at the center of the housing industry, connecting leaders through trusted journalism, market intelligence, data, events, and community. This is an opportunity to build relationships with some of the industry's most influential organizations while helping shape the growth of HousingWire's enterprise business.
Compensation & Benefits
