Job description

Lincoln Tech is seeking an Assistant Academic Dean to oversee academic operations and ensure compliance across our programs. Manage critical functions including attendance tracking, retention strategies, and academic support systems while leading key team members and maintaining institutional standards.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree needed. Master's helpful.
  • Experience in education or student services
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of academic compliance and accreditation requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Proficient in data management and reporting systems

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Academic Operations Coordinator, Retention Coordinator, and Education Supervisors
  • Oversee attendance monitoring, academic tracking, and student appeals processes
  • Manage new faculty onboarding and Lincoln Instructional Foundational (LIFT) training
  • Ensure curriculum delivery meets institutional and industry standards
  • Conduct classroom observations and evaluate instructional quality
  • Use academic reports to identify trends and develop student improvement plans
  • Maintain institutional and programmatic accreditation standards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate accreditation visits and reporting requirements
  • Oversee Learning Resource Center operations and academic support services
