JOB SUMMARYย 

The ideal candidate will have a proactive,ย solutions-drivenย and detail-oriented work ethic and lead exemplary professionalism with our internal and external teams. They will develop ideas to integrate leads, program innovations as well as grow and nurture our Travel Advisor audiences in the business.ย 

The Coordinator, Trade Marketing (B2B) plays a vital role in supporting the trade marketing teamย in executing sales-aligned marketing initiatives forย the travel advisor and agency channel. Reporting directly to the Director of Trade Marketing, this role is designed for a rising marketing professional with the ambition and capability to grow into an Associate Manager position. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, including trade marketing, sales, expeditions, B2C marketing, and trade advertising, theย coordinatorย helps ensure consistent, high-impact messaging forย the travel trade.ย 

Key areas of focus include consortia and strategic account marketing support, trade event coordination, educational webinars, social media content strategy and execution, lead-generating campaign support, and administrative tracking.ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIESย 

Consortia & Strategic Account Marketing Supportย 

Partner with the sales team to:ย 

  • Support execution of the annualย co-op marketing planย with consortia and strategic account partnersย 

  • Track plan milestonesย in Workfront andย maintainย the Trade Marketing Content Calendarย 

  • Manage the execution of each tactic, includingย submittingย briefs to the creative team via Workfront and ensuring proper internal and external approvalsย 

  • Report onย resultsย 

Note: Consortia are membership-based travel agency networks - such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, and Travel Leaders Group - that connect preferred suppliers, such as Lindblad Expeditions, with their member travel advisors. These partnerships are a key channel for co-op marketing, advisor education, and driving bookings through the agency community.ย 

Trade Events & Trade Show Coordinationย 

  • Support the planning and on-site execution of industry events and trade shows, including agenda development, transportation, booth setup, staffing, and shippingย 

  • Coordinate creation and distribution ofย trade marketing materialsย and collateral for eventsย 

  • Assistย in developingย lead generation strategies, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and follow-upย 

  • Deliverย post-event analysisย to measure ROI and provide recommendations for continuous improvementย 

  • With experience, take lead ownership of select events end-to-endย 

Educational Webinarsย 

  • Support planning and execution ofย Travel Advisor webinars, including theme development, scheduling, and promotionย 

  • Help prepareย engaging presentationsย tailored to advisor education and sales enablementย 

  • Coordinate with Exploration Leaders,ย Sales Leaders, and subject-matter experts as guest presentersย 

  • Manageย logisticsย including briefing speakers, rehearsals, and technology setupย 

  • Track registrations, attendance, and engagement, providing detailedย post-webinar reportingย and recommendationsย 

  • Grow to independently leadย webinarย programs as skills developย 

Social Media & Content Strategyย 

  • Manage curation, scheduling, and execution ofย trade-facing social media contentย across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagramย 

  • Maintain theย Trade Social Content Hubย on a weekly basis,ย developing audience specific copy and images inย alignment with the marketing calendar and sales initiativesย 

  • Ensure alignment with overall trade marketing campaignsย and messaging.ย 

  • Monitor trade engagement on social platforms and build/shareย monthly performance reportsย 

  • Suggest ways to continually improve trade social media engagementย 

Administrative & Operational Dutiesย 

  • Manage the processing and tracking of trade marketingย invoices, purchase orders, and budget allocationsย 

  • Maintain internal tracking documents, campaign calendars, and deliverables dashboardsย 

  • Assistย in compiling post-campaign or post-event recap reports and insights for internal useย 

  • Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for trade marketing, sales, expeditions, B2C, and legal teamsย 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSย 

  • BA/BSย requiredย in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent industry experienceย 

  • 2-3+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing,ย events,ย social media,ย or related field, preferably in the travel industry. B2B experience a plusย 

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively withย demonstratedย ability to work cross-functionally.ย 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, particularly in event planning and managementย 

  • Excellent ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentย 

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and solutions-driven attitudeย 

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively withย demonstratedย ability to work cross-functionallyย 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and partnersย 

  • Attention to detail, curiosity to solve problems and a focus on delivering high-quality experiences for Travel Advisorsย 

  • Proficient computer skills in the Windows operating system, including Word,ย Excelย and PowerPointย 

  • Using the English language, this person must have the ability to read, write, andย comprehendย policies, legal guidelines, correspondence, and memosย 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSย 

  • Demonstrated success supporting or organizing trade shows, events, or advisor engagement programsย 

  • Successful management of invoices, and operational tasksย 

  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Canva, social media platforms, or project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Workfront)ย 

  • Flexibility to travel and work outside of regular business hours as required for events that require onsite helpย 

  • Passion for values-led marketing and corporate social responsibilityย 

$24 - $28 an hour

COMPENSATION STATEMENT
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
