A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with an established construction company in the Wallingford area to hire an experienced Estimator for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. In this role, you will:
  • Develop detailed, accurate project estimates, bids, and proposals
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Perform quantity take-offs and identify project scope requirements
  • Gather and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and leadership throughout the bidding process
  • Analyze labor, materials, timelines, and overall project costs
  • Support estimating and pre-construction activities from start to finish
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of construction estimating experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
  • Understanding of construction methods, materials, and project flow
  • Experience with estimating software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on industry experience
