In this role, you will work closely with our research team to develop new tools and related technologies that not only streamline graphics performance but also support emerging technologies, like neural rendering, to enhance visual quality and efficiency.**What you'll be doing:**As a key member of the team, you will create new technical designs and implement features while working in an agile environment. You can expect to:* Improve existing tools for NVIDIA GPUs, enabling developers to quickly identify and resolve rendering and performance issues.* Create innovative new tools that bridge AI & graphics in next generation workflows.* Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including teams within NVIDIA such as the Compiler, Driver, Research, and GPU Architecture teams.* Drive technology discussions and provide feedback on system architecture.* Accurately estimate and prioritize tasks in order to create realistic delivery schedules.* Write fast, effective, maintainable, reliable and well-documented object-oriented code.* Document requirements and designs, and review documents with key partners.* Meet with the QA Department to develop test plans for new features.**What we need to see:*** BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.* 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development* Real passion for 3D graphics, AI, and low-level programming with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.* Excellent C/C++ programming skills.* Ability to provide accurate estimates to ensure delivery of software on time.* Knowledge of 3D Graphics Algorithms and GPU Architectures, with proficiency in at least one 3D Graphics API such as Direct3D, OpenGL, or Vulkan.* Demonstrated experience with AI and deep learning techniques, including familiarity with neural network architectures, CUDA, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.* Deep understanding of computer architecture concepts such as virtual memory, caches, registers, threads, and heterogeneous computing.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.**Ways to stand out from the crowd:*** Familiarity with deep learning and AI, particularly in applying these technologies to enhance graphics performance and quality.* Background in the game industry, research, or in a field that requires high-performance graphics.* Be able to demonstrate initiative and determination to get things done.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers with some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working here.If you're highly technical and enthusiastic about 3D Graphics, we want to hear from you!
