Job description

Build the Path Forward

At Path Robotics, we're building the future of embodied intelligence. Our AI-driven systems enable robots to adapt, learn, and perform in the real world closing the skilled labor gap and transforming industries. We go beyond traditional methods, combining perception, reasoning, and control to deliver field-ready AI that is risk-aware, reliable, and continuously improving through real-world use.
Big, hard problems are our everyday work, and our team of intelligent, humble, and driven people make the impossible possible together.

Our Software Engineers play a crucial role in shaping the future of manufacturing by creating intuitive and efficient front-end interfaces using React. You'll build the experiences where our software meets its users: the cloud platform where customers turn CAD models into weld-ready plans, and the touchscreen interface operators use on the factory floor to run robotic welding cells. Our flexible system integrates robots, sensors, and other systems present in manufacturing and combines them with our cutting edge algorithms.

What You'll Do

Tech you will use:

  • React and TypeScript in a shared Nx monorepo - with MUI, Redux Toolkit, Vite, react-hook-form, and i18n.
  • three.js for interactive 3D visualization of parts, welds, and robot scenes.
  • Node.js and C# back-end services behind the UIs.
  • Git for version control and branching.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform for cloud-based applications and infrastructure (AWS).
  • CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  • Slack, Jira/Confluence, Google Workspace for team collaboration.

How You Deliver:

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

What You Deliver:

  • Design and build front-end features across our customer authoring platform and operator HMI, plus the endpoints that support them.
  • Ship safely behind feature flags and entitlement gates.
  • Develop new features, write automated tests, and fix bugs.
  • Build reusable components for future use, optimized for maximum performance across the full lifecycle of a workflow.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies, applying them to enhance operations and activities.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-6 years experience contributing to production applications.
  • Strong React and TypeScript experience; comfortable working in a shared component library / monorepo codebase.
  • Experience contributing to Node.js and/or C# back-end services and relational database solutions.
  • Proficient in development lifecycles using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container deployments in a cloud environment (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
  • Bonus: data visualization or 3D graphics (three.js/WebGL), state management at scale, accessibility, or industrial/HMI interface experience.
Team Player:
  • Startup Energizer: The idea of joining a growing venture-backed startup excites you because you know your work will have an immediate and significant impact.
  • Collaboration Champion: You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with others to achieve common goals and drive success.
  • Mentorship Minded: You are passionate about helping peers, fostering best practices, and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
  • Quality Advocate: You are dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality, shipping reliable and high-quality code that you can be proud of, knowing that good quality also enables fast delivery.
Why You'll Love It Here
  • Daily free lunch to keep you fueled and connected with the team
  • Flexible PTO so you can take the time you need, when you need it
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 6 weeks fully paid parental leave, plus an additional 6-8 weeks for birthing parents (12-14 weeks total)
  • 401(k) retirement plan through Empower
  • Generous employee referral bonuses-help us grow our team!
