  • Shift Time: 2nd Shift (1pm-9:30pm), Monday-Friday
  • Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000

The 2nd Shift Manager oversees evening operations at the Cheshire plant. This role is responsible for directing fillers and loaders, planning production schedules, and ensuring shuttle trucks are loaded accurately and on time. The manager coordinates closely with 1st shift management and the lab team to maximize order fulfillment while maintaining a culture focused strictly on safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Shift Supervision: Manage and support fillers and loaders on the second shift.
  • Production Planning: Plan daily production schedules specifically optimized for second shift fillers.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ensure all trucks designated for shuttles are loaded accurately and dispatched on time.
  • Shift Handovers: Coordinate production priorities with the 1st shift management team to ensure continuous, on-time filling and maximize the Order Fulfillment Rate (OFR).
  • Quality & Testing: Collaborate closely with the lab manager to get all products tested, cleared, and ready to ship without delay.
  • Safety Enforcement: Ensure best safety practices are always in place and actively followed on the floor.
  • Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
  • Schedule: Maintain operational standards during the designated shift hours of 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with different management teams and floor staff.
  • A strong customer-centric approach to focus on delivery performance and quality standards.
  • Willingness and capability to step in and handle manual tasks on the plant floor if required.
  • Minimal travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in supply chain management, logistics management, or a related field desired.
  • SAP knowledge.
