Job description

Technical Project Manager (Mid-Senior Level)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who excels at driving alignment, clarity, and execution across high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. This role is not about writing code; it is about ensuring that specialized teams deliver the right work at the right time.
As the primary link between Product, Engineering, and Program Leadership, you will translate high-level business priorities into actionable execution plans, proactively managing the risks and dependencies that come with complex technical environments.
Core Responsibilities
• End-to-End Delivery: Own the planning and execution of complex initiatives, ensuring teams remain focused on outcomes rather than just task completion.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with leadership to ensure engineering efforts stay synchronized with shifting program priorities and business intent.
• Operational Rigor: Establish and maintain clear timelines, delivery milestones, and team operating rhythms (planning, retrospectives, and status reporting).
• Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify technical blockers and trade-offs, driving resolution to keep workstreams moving efficiently.
• Cross-Functional Facilitation: Act as the "connective tissue" between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on all delivery trade-offs.
• Process Optimization: Continuously identify gaps in communication or planning to help teams become more predictable and outcome-focused.
________________________________________
Technical & Professional Requirements
The Essentials:
• Experience: 3-7+ years in project or program management, specifically within software or highly technical environments.
• Execution: Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams from conception to completion.
• Technical Literacy: Comfortable working alongside engineering teams and understanding technical concepts (APIs, system dependencies, etc.) without replacing engineering judgment.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban) and team operating rhythms.
• Ambiguity Management: Proven ability to bring structure to complex, shifting situations where no roadmap exists.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have:
• Experience in SaaS or platform-based product environments.
• Mastery of project management tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
