Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator Associate in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring culture that puts people first, working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity each day.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support orderly operations and compliance with site rules, visitor protocols, and/or restricted area requirements.
  • Complete routine reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities, while providing courteous assistance and clear communication to those on site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
  • Have CPR and First Aid, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
