As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic campus location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or guests, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this people-focused role, you will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:45 PM - 08:00 PMWed04:45 AM - 05:00 PMSat01:45 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
