We are seeking a BAS Project Manager to join our team.

This individual will take ownership and full responsibility of coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous Building Automation projects of various complexities. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.

Job Title: BAS Project Manager

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Pay Scale: $100K - $125K annual salary + potential for bonus/profit sharing

Essential job duties:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team. Identify time-sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
• Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
• Track resources and project progress.
• Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing, coordinate with accounting team and Operations Manager.
• Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.
• Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
• Complete project-specific close-out documentation. Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
• Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• AA/AS degree or BA/BS degree
• 5+ years relevant experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation is a must
• Working knowledge of MS Visio, Adobe PDF, Bluebeam REVU or other CAD and MEP software
• Proficient in understanding MEP and Building plans, Automation service provider requirements, scope of work etc.
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting including P&L
• Tridium Niagara experience a plus
• Three years Building Automation and HVAC Controls experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and other Windows products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
