Daycare Coordinator/Transportation Coordinator - Full-time, 10 mos/yr

Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a Daycare Coordinator/Transportation Coordinator for our Horsham, PA location. This is a full-time, 10 month position working mid August thru mid-June each school year, with 8 weeks off in the summer. This position will commence with the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

a. Work to create a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for children.

b. Meet with incoming parents to review handbooks and requirements.

c. Develop daily schedule and oversee activities such as diapering, feeding/snack time and play time.

d. Maintain daily records as set forth in the daycare regulations.

e. Plan and implement work study parenting curriculum.

f. Meet individually with parents as needed.

g. Ensure daily operations remain in compliance with daycare regulations.

h. Participate in regular supervision with Program Director.

i. Supervision and evaluation of childcare assistants.

j. Coordinate w/Lakeside School Transportation the best and most efficient routes to transport students.

k. Supervision and evaluation of van driving staff.

l. Shall be responsible for van runs.

m. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirement:

Minimum AA degree including 30 hours in early childhood, child development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the human services field.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience providing care for young children.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift infants of varying weight up to 30 lbs., bending, lifting, squatting.

Salary Range: $32,000 - $38,000 per year
