Experienced in commercial real estate site development/selection, and looking to travel? Passionate about finding the right property to match your company's needs? Then this is the job for YOU!! National retail grocery chain is looking to expand their stores in the Southeastern regions. Position will work with multiple brokers and research various communities to determine the best locations to develop and grow the brand. This position will travel 40%-50% of time, and work out of the Boston location the remainder of the time. Position will begin within the lease negotiation team, negotiating new and renewal leases and then move into site selection.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching various regions to determine potential locations
- Building relationships with brokers
- Following up with brokers on listings
- Following up on non-listed sites
- Scheduling site visits and coordinating broker meetings on location
- Developing knowledge of communities and purchasing needs within those communities
- Developing understanding of economic conditions in potential communities
- Reviewing potential store locations after visiting to provide management team an analysis
- Utilizing creative and critical thinking skills to understand store layouts/designs that might work within a space
- Communicating potential store layout for selected sites
- Gaining understanding of market changes within the communities being considered
- Frequently traveling to visit sites
- Working with upper Management to present findings and determine next steps in process
- Negotiating LOI's and leases for new sites

Must Have:
- 4+ years of experience working in commercial Real Estate in acquisitions or related field
- BS or BA in business or related field
- Ability to work with brokers and understand site selection
- Solid software skills
- Willingness/desire to travel
