The Nectar Group is hiring two Assistant Directors. You will play a vital role in positively and dramatically impacting the lives of both school age students (K-12) and adults. At The Nectar Group we focus on identifying the root causes of learning challenges and then providing the best recommendations for interventions that will resolve those learning challenges.

The Nectar Group works with clients to improve their cognitive and academic skills such as; memory, executive functioning and problem solving along with content areas of reading, writing, and math through cognitive training, academic coaching, and study skills coaching. We work with students who want to unlock their full potential in order to overcome learning challenges and disabilities. We provide unique, customized coaching and tutoring programs rooted in neuroscience.

This is a 3-year training program to learn all of the departments and responsibilities of a director, in addition to playing a vital role in sales and marketing contributing to the overall growth of the company. This is a full-time salaried role with benefits. This position will require some weekend availability based on company needs.

Key responsibilities:

Consultative sales through prospective client calls, parent conferences, and consultations

Relationship manager for individual case load of clients

Marketing attend conferences/conventions/expos and other in person and virtual events and as a speaker and to work at the exhibit table (this will require out of town travel over weekends and public speaking to large groups)

Supports Operations - client communications and scheduling

Cognitive and academic coach and psychometrist trained in all programs offered and assessments / serves as a substitute for coaches once per week

Assists with New Hire and Ongoing Trainings for coaching team

Champions company mission, vision, and why, provides inspiration to team, actively engages team members as a leader and source of encouragement and promotion of Nectar

Stands in alignment of Nectar values and operates with these values as a guidepost and in communication with clients, managers, and other team members

Other projects and responsibilities and back-office support as needed

Department Management:

In addition to the above responsibilities, each Assistant Director will fulfill one of four Tracks and will rotate through each track over approximately a 3-year period (with the expectation that they can independently complete all responsibilities within their assigned department and serve as the backup for that department when needed).

Assessments (oversee assessments department: training and development of all assessors, manages lead assessor to ensure all deadlines are met and assessment processing is complete with high accuracy, manages inventory, and quality control of assessments, provides direction for new assessment rollouts, updates, or changes.) -While in this track, must be on call to provide support to assessors if needed OR work Tuesday-Saturdays as the regular work week)

Program Management (oversee program management department: manages program managers, assists with program plan creation, provides solutions to improve client progress, coaching issues and trends impacting client progress, guides training for team to improve client outcomes, provides support and management to program managers, assists with and manages quality of all elements of client programs)

Client Experience (oversees customer service overall, manages Client Experience Manger, oversees Administrative Assistant (includes overseeing shipping, data entry, processing enrollments, etc.)

Human Resources and Accounting (assists with recruiting & hiring process, processes hr paperwork, processes enrollments, assists with client payments, insurance, and scholarship programs)

Self-Management:

You will have a set of responsibilities that are solely yours in addition to filling in where needed on the team. You will be responsible to manage your schedule independently to schedule your tasks and meetings to ensure that all your assigned responsibilities are completed on time. This role requires a high level of independence, ownership of ones responsibilities, and self-management. You must be able to self-initiate and truly manage yourself successfully and efficiently.
