PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Build and troubleshoot highly engineered pumps to satisfy customer requirements. Fabricate, assemble, wire, and prepare pump to meet engineering drawings and customer specifications. Interface with supervision, planning, engineering, and quality as needed in the event of deviations from specifications. Document acceptance of pumps on final product inspections reports.

PRIMARY DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Build and troubleshoot highly engineered pumps to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Fit parts together on bench, following blueprints.
  • Align or fit parts and verify clearance of parts with dial indicator and precision measuring equipment.
  • Forms and bends tubing per drawing requirements.
  • Bolts, screws, rivet, and spot welds parts together.
  • Performs oil fill, potting, gas check, electrical testing and wiring.
  • Stamps and attaches name plates as required.
  • Performs final product inspection before moving parts or pumps to next operation.
  • Participates actively in continuous improvement through individual process changes and participation on cross-functional improvement teams.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 10+ years of related experience related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of technical or trade school preferred.

Both Teikoku and Chempump products can be serviced, with engineering support, in either of these manufacturing facilities.
