Qualifications:


Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly motivated and meet the requirements below:

  • Candidates must live in the Greater Indianapolis, IN area, or be willing to relocate to our headquarters.
  • (10) Years of electrical construction experience
  • Possess at minimum (1) Journeyman electrical license as noted below
  • Masters license strongly preferred.
  • If a Journeyman license is active, obtain an Electrical Masters license within (12) months of hire
  • The ability to pass local city or county Journeyman electrical licensing exams on a project specific as needed
  • Must be able to successfully lead a team of skilled electricians through coaching and empowerment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Value highly collaborative solution-oriented relationships with departmental Directors, Project Management, Project Accountant, Human Resources, Payroll Specialist, Vendors, Contractors, and Customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, diplomacy a must
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Positive and "Can Do!" attitude, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and team player
  • Commitment to continual personal and professional growth


Day-to-day tasks include, but not limited to the following:


  • Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient skills in reading construction drawings, specifications, electrical submittals and blue prints.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled site visits for QA/QC purposes including site superintendent project requirements including as-built and progress drawings in addition to the installation of equipment.
  • Adhere to and enforce InPwr Inc. safety protocol and promote onsite hazard analysis.
  • Implement and enforce InPwr Inc. policies and procedures in areas of human resources, jobsite documentation and project completion.
  • Provide general support on an as needed basis for the Project Manager & Project Coordinator.
  • Attend project coordination meetings.


Working/ Environment/ Physical Demandsto successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to climb, crawl, kneel, stand, balance, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and greater than 60 pounds using appropriate equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others. The job can be performed under extreme temperature and some hazardous conditions.
