Hiring RN's with Case Management and referral experience

Overview:

Avid Healthcare Services is hiring Registered Nurse (RN's) to work at Sacramento Corrections in the office as an Administrator in Northern California. You will be responsible for case management and/or referrals for the county. This position is from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Position:

• Registered Nurse (RN)

Requirements may include:

• Current RN License
• Med Surg Experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Pass Background Check
• Current Neg. PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Administer medical care to ill or injured patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process
