The Basics: The Graphic Designer works closely with the marketing team in elevating the credit union's voice, designing art, and manifesting CFCU's brand visually. The ideal candidate has experience in different art forms within the creative marketing realm (i.e., graphic design, digital, and social media). This artist will be the liaison between the abstract concepts and campaigns part of CFCU's marketing strategy and varied audiences.

The Details:

  • Develop memorable, un-ignorable creative concepts that help grow our CFCU brand.
  • Execute the design, layout, and visual aspects of assigned projects.
  • Work closely and cross-departmentally with other CFCU team members through different project phases.
  • Simultaneously accomplish a range of complex assignments with overlapping timelines, never sacrificing quality or commitment to excellence.
  • Develop creative solutions that can be effectively applied to a wide range of tactics, including video concept ideas and scripts, digital advertising concept and layout (e.g., banners, paid social video and static, rich media, etc.), print ads, posters, design, and branding.
  • Possess a keen eye for content creation for social, display ads, print, and email layouts.
  • Present and recommend new ways to express CFCU's voice in our markets using imagery, video, sound, and others.
  • Contribute to the creative content process that displays the company's brand, mission, products and services.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


What's Needed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years in a marketing graphic designer role.
  • Portfolio and reel that demonstrate creative skills.
  • Be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Background in creative advertising, and conceptual development.
  • Ability to generate consistently outstanding creative concepts and visual solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; communicating clearly and succinctly.
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to think out of the box and drive change.

Working Conditions:

This position works in-office and from home. Work requires an appropriate work environment in the home. In-office working conditions are normal. Lighting, temperature, audio, and work space are all sufficient. Work requires the ability to constantly operate a computer and the ability to read, type, and communicate.
