Cyber Security Asset/Network Analyst
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus full benefits
Job Description:
As a Cyber Security Asset/Network Analyst on our team, you will use your experience to work with the VA to establish one of the core foundations of their cyber security processes. The alignment of Cyber Security assets to system security boundaries is key for the Cyber Security Operations teams. As a member of the System Boundary Support team, you will work with key VA staff to understand VA's many security boundaries and use different enterprise tools to discover and align their IT assets to the appropriate security boundary. This is your opportunity to use your experience in cybersecurity, engineering, implementation, and vulnerability for the protection of systems, networks, and information.  Join us as we protect our nation's cyber infrastructure. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
You have:
•Experience with NIST special publications, the full RMF process, NIST security controls, Risk Analysis, Vulnerability Management, Contingency Planning, or Cloud Computing
•Experience in information security and assurance principles, specifically the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
•Experience working directly with clients to gather system and network information to help update cybersecurity solutions 
•Experience with engineering, implementing, and validating cybersecurity solutions
•Experience in guiding understanding the NIST security and privacy controls and for providing sufficient documentation/artifacts for each control within a tool such as eMASS
•Experience in reviewing security requirements, recommending a mitigation strategy for deficiencies, and working directly with clients to provide solutions and education
•Knowledge of different types of physical and virtual IT assets
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is required, and 5 years of IT experience or a total of 13 years of IT experience in lieu of education
Nice if you have:
•Experience in assessing NIST security and privacy controls and maintaining Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
•Experience with Privacy and Security control implementation, testing/assessment, and POAM management
•Experience with GRC (Governance risk compliance) tools such as eMASS
•Experience with performing annual security reviews following FISMA reporting Experience utilizing data analytical tools like MS Excel
•Experience with VA 
•Excellent customer service, organization, verbal, and written communication skills  
•Self-starter with the ability to work flexibly in a very fast-paced environment 
•Preferred certifications: CAP, CISSP, CISM, PMP, CCSK
