VA Training Management System (TMS) - Facilitator/Trainer
Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS) has an opening for a Facilitator/Trainer experienced with the VA's TMS as part of our continued support for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Work Location: Local office in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and remote.

Hours: Work Hours 8:00am - 4:30pm

Expected Start Date: Immediate

Clearance: National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI). Successful completion of appropriate background security investigation is required in accordance with VA Directive and Handbook 0710, Personnel Suitability and Security Program.

Overview & Responsibilities:
The VA Talent Management System (TMS) Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) instructor will be assisting the VA TMS project in training audiences that include TMS administrators, users, and managers.

• Content includes the various functions of the TMS available to assigned roles and users.
• Responsibilites include facilitating demonstrations of the TMS 2.0 upgrades and sustainment training utilizing TEAMS and conferencing software.
• Training sessions last 1.5 to 3.5 hours. These are on various subjects, such as: help desk, reporting, class management, assignment management, TMS content overview, learning management, domain management, online content, analysis and performance review, time sensitive performance standards, profile maintenance, and item management.
• Classes are delivered virtually via Microsoft TEAMS.

Necessary Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience should be within the facilitation, teaching, and content delivery role as a main provider.
• Background in training or facilitating.
  • Should be demonstrated through work experience utilizing online delivery, conferencing, or likewise modalities of instruction.
• Experience with the VA's TMS system.
  • To be demonstrated through the resume, and technical/practical knowledge application.
• Knowledge of LMS (learning management systems) such as Blackboard, Canvas, or related public industry standards within government work.
• Demonstrated experience delivering VILT using tools such as Microsoft TEAMS, Blackboard, or Zoom.
• Ability to facilitate a VILT with skills including:
  • Breakout room management
  • Virtual room management
  • Working with multiple monitors and open applications
  • Ability to facilitate for up to 5 continual hours a day
  • Strong classroom management skills
• Demonstrated experience in the VA TMS as a user or administrator role.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate among multiple levels of skill and development throughout the VILT life cycle.
• U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in VA TMS 2.0 functionalities for administrators, end users and end users with manager functionalities.
• Active VA clearance and PIV card.
• 508 design & compliance experience.
