Position Overview: Learn to/provide TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment, monitor and build relationships with our patients during those treatments.  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Learns to/administer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatments and supports patient during treatments using positive communication and reinforcement to ensure optimal results are achieved. 
  • Learns to monitor/monitors for adverse effects and notify the doctor or provider.  
  • Assist in the management of adverse effects including seizures. 
  • Complete all required clinical and administrative documentation to accepted standards of practice, accurately, legibly, and by established timelines on electronic health record (EHR) system and paper as needed. 
  • Learns to assist/assist psychiatrist by gathering and reviewing medical records to aid in appropriate patient selection. 
  • Learns to/collaborates with Providers to determine the treatment protocols. 
  • Learns to provide/provides psychoeducation curriculum to patients, communicate, and educate patients on importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 
  • Successfully completes training/operates of control settings of electrophysiologic recording device.  
  • Measure, calculate, and log recorded electrophysiologic information.  
  • Operate and control settings of electrophysiologic recording device.  
  • Correctly position the TMS coil and administer validated rating scales to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Selected candidates will be slotted in either the TMS Tech Trainee or TMS Tech based on relevant years of experience.
TMS Tech Trainee 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • TMS tech experience, Experience in healthcare (as a MA, CNA, EMT, EEG tech, Medic, etc.), EHR experience, and/or previous experience in a mental health environment preferred. 
  • TMS Certification preferred 

TMS Tech Trainee Hourly compensation: $23.00 

TMS Tech 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Minimum six months TMS tech experience required. Experience in healthcare (as a MA, CNA, EMT, EEG tech, Medic, etc.), EHR experience, and/or previous experience in a mental health environment preferred. 
  • TMS Certification required. 

TMS TECH Hourly compensation range: $24.00 - $27.00 based on years of relevant of experience.
