Job Summary

Summary
Responsible for providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to patients. This role is also responsible for assisting in all administrative aspects of TMS treatments.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions
-Prepares patients for TMS therapy, including explaining the procedure and answering any questions patients have.
-Administers TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols: includes setting up equipment, positioning magnetic coil, and adjusting the intensity of magnetic field.
-Monitors patients during TMS therapy to ensure their safety and comfort.
-Documents patient progress and keeps accurate records of TMS therapy sessions.
-Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
-Maintains TMS equipment and ensures that it is functioning properly.


Qualifications

Education
Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Clinical experience working with clients who have anxiety and/or depression 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interface with patients in a mental health setting.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal professional relationships with patients and their families, physicians, management, and peers.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.
- Ability to follow department's policies and procedures.
