How will you make an Impact?

Teach English as a Second Language
You will teach English as a Second Language in-person to refugee adults to help restore the lives of the persecuted, as they learn to start new lives in the United States.

Plan Effective Lessons
You will plan effective lessons based on the 4 skill areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing where clients with different learning styles will learn survival English.

Remove Barriers
You will help clients remove barriers to ESL attendance by following up with clients and communicating with case managers regarding client needs.

Work Hours and Location:

Most classes will be during the daytime, with some evening classes required, if needed. This is an in-person role. Classes are at multiple locations around Fort Worth, however some classes may be virtual.

Are you the newest Adult ESL Instructor?

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
One year experience minimum teaching ESL, or combination of education and experience required.
Familiarity with refugee populations and their needs, strongly preferred.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Must have proficient computer skills.
Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver's license, and evidence of auto liability insurance.

The Good Stuff:

Full-Time position with an hourly rate of $20-$22. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
