Position Overview:

Are you a seasoned Machining Supervisor ready to make a real impact? Join our esteemed team and take the lead in overseeing day-to-day operations on manual and CNC machines. As a key leader, you will guide a team of skilled professionals and play a crucial role in supporting our transition to a new CNC center of excellence, showcasing our commitment to national security and patriotism.

Job Summary:

The Seasoned Machining Supervisor oversees and manages machine shop operations, coordinating the machining of jobs, materials, and the flow of parts in the shop. They perform various supervisory duties, including monitoring production, quality, and employee work habits, and training employees as needed.

Job Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma. Vocational training in machining, mechanical technology, or trades area preferred.

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in machining operations, with a deep expertise in manual and CNC machining. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.

- Skills: Proven leadership skills, extensive knowledge of machining processes and equipment, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire a team of machinists, setting the bar for excellence in operations.

- Manage day-to-day operations on manual and CNC machines, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.

- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to innovate and improve machining processes.

- Support the transition to our new CNC center of excellence, contributing to its development as a symbol of our national security efforts.

- Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and patriotic duty in all operations.
